What's on Your Wish List?

Guess Whose Birthday it is?

In our family the next 2 months are very busy with birthday's – do you need to check your calendar and create (or copy) some cards to mail in May or June – now's the time to start! It is so relaxing when you can prepare your cards ahead of time and then either prep them for the mail now or have them ready to choose from for a birthday party!

Hate Your Handwriting? Check this out!

I really don't like my handwriting :) So... many times I will turn to my computer to create a journal entry or sentiment for the inside of my card.  However, I want my computer text to match my cardstock color - black is very boring all the time! 

Here is the solution! Use the RGB Colors in your format font dialog box!  Don't know what that is... you are not alone - but I am here to help you with this.  If you Click Here you will be linked to a document that will give you the RGB Codes for all the Stampin' Up! colors!!!  Isn't that existing????!!!!!

Here are the steps in Microsoft Word to format the test using the RGB Colors.

• Select Text to be colored
• Select format – Font (or Right Click and select Font…) ** I use the Font Dialog box because I get a preview of what my text will look like and I can format everything at once.
•  In the Font Dialog box, click on the Font Color Drop down arrow and select More colors…
• Click on the Custom tab
• Enter the RGB Code in the fields then click OK!

It's May Day! Don't Get Caught!

Do you celebrate May Day?  Many celebrate May Day with the giving of gifts! 

According to about.com, May Day (May 1st) is celebrated in many places around the world. The traditions and stories surrounding May Day vary from place to place. There is, however, one thing that is similar in most celebrations - the use of Flowers!

One of the most popularly known May Day traditions is to hang a basket full of spring flowers and/or other small gifts on a neighbor's doorknob. The trick is you don't want the neighbor to see you! If you get caught, you are supposed to get a kiss.

So, in honor of May Day I am sharing a card from a swap by Jeannine Tarrio - It's a beautiful spring card with an encouraging message.
